ULKAA Official Teaser: Dushyant Kapoor Brings His Superhero Universe to the Big Screen
DK FILMS presents the official teaser of ULKAA, the upcoming superhero feature written and directed by Dushyant Kapoor. The film marks the first theatrical chapter of the Dushyant Kapoor Superhero Universe (DKSU), expanding an independent storytelling journey that began with Mahakaal in 2016.
Built around the premise of a hero freed from a curse dating back 66 million years, ULKAA explores an ancient power and its destructive consequences. The teaser introduces the film’s world while leaving its central mysteries for the big screen.
Starring Shray Rai Tiwari, Pradeep Kabra, Deepak Kalra and Ojasvi Sharma, the film follows four years of development. Principal photography began on October 5, 2025, and concluded on March 6, 2026. With the picture edit complete, work continues on visual effects, sound and music.
For Kapoor and DK FILMS, ULKAA represents a significant step from independently produced superhero web series into theatrical filmmaking.
