Dushyant Kapoor Confirms September Teaser Release of ULKAA, the First Theatrical Film from DK Superhero Universe

The wait is almost over for ULKAA, Dushyant Kapoor’s ambitious superhero project and the first film to bring the DK Superhero Universe (DKSU) to the big screen.

After years of developing Indian superhero stories, filmmaker Dushyant Kapoor is preparing to unveil the first official teaser of ULKAA in September. The announcement has created anticipation among followers of DK Films and audiences interested in independent Indian superhero cinema.

The film’s shooting journey began on October 5, 2025, and concluded on March 7, 2026. Since then, the team has been working on VFX, sound design, editing and other post-production elements to shape the film’s cinematic experience.

ULKAA follows Aawin, an assistant archaeologist whose discovery of a mysterious celestial ring changes his life and draws him into a conflict involving extraordinary powers and ancient forces. The film combines superhero storytelling with mythology-inspired themes, science fiction, action and suspense.

As the first theatrical entry in the DK Superhero Universe, ULKAA represents an important milestone for DK Films and Dushyant Kapoor’s long-running vision of building an interconnected Indian superhero world.

With the teaser scheduled for September, audiences are now waiting for the first glimpse of ULKAA’s characters, visual world and larger cinematic vision.
